Frank graduated from the University of Illinois in May 1975 with a major in Agricultural Industries and a minor in Accounting. Frank has worked in Agri-Business in Vermilion County for 25 years. He worked at Second National Bank as a Farm Manager/Loan Officer for six years managing farms in 10 counties in Illinois and Indiana. Frank also worked at Farm Credit Services of Illinois for the past 19 years as Vice-President of Agricultural Financial Services. During this time, he originated approximately 100 million dollars of loan volume with the majority in farm real estate financing. Frank owns Strawberry Acres, a specialty operation growing strawberries and pumpkins. This is one of the largest plasticulture strawberry operations in the state of Illinois. Strawberry Acres was established in 1987. Frank also owns other farmland in Vermilion County.
